5 Reasons why you have Neva made It As A Blogger Yet

Sorry I have not bin posting solutions regularly but am back for all of you with more solutions and 2016 latest Tricks.
Before, you’ll hear people say you should do it for the passion, but in recent times, while a few still say it, many have given up on that idea. Most bloggers are now into it for the money. lol :)
While a lot do it for the money, many are towing the wrong path, expecting to get the right results, which is an aberration.
Even if you have Adsense account and your blog is relatively new, there is a high possibility that your ads account would be frustrating, due to the fact that your traffic is low, you don’t have loyal readers yet etc. but after reading this post, I believe your eyes would be open to why you are not earning yet.
Without further ado, lets get into why you are where you are as a blogger.
1. You are in the wrong Niche
If you are not in a niche where you are having fun, there is a high possibility you would fail (sorry to say).
If you came into blogging because of one famous entertainment blogger, consequently you named your blog “naijathis and naijathat”, with time, you’ll realize you are not enjoying yourself if youve got no passion for entertainment blogging.
Blogging is lucrative when you enjoy doing it, this way, you’ll be creative to generate ideas that would yield profit.
All you need to do, is to find something you love doing. No niche is bad. Some might look more profitable than others but if you are enjoying it,you’ll get people to like you and in no time, you’ll have made yourself an authority and a trail blazer.
Your niche should be one you can easily perform even when you are half asleep. When you find that area, never let it go.
2. You lack resources
I hear some people say they don’t have a laptop to blog with, they don’t have a modem with which to connect, they lack finance to subscribe etc…
With these excuses, how do you want to outshine one who is always online?
I wanted to give a guy a job to work for my client, since I won’t be available. To my surprise, he asked me to tell my client to pay him upfront so as to enable him buy data. I found that ridiculous but I still cared and wanted to help. So, I obliged but my client refused and we ultimately gave it to somebody else.
How do you handle running out of data and abandon your blog for another 3 weeks because you do not have data. If you need a laptop, smart phone or any tool to help you blog right, do get it.
HOW?
Get a job.
Its more effective blogging if you have a job that funds your blog before you start making the profits’.
3. Zero, Poor or Wrong Publicity Method
If you blog and don’t publicize, then I wonder who would read your posts.
Entertainment bloggers tend to spam Facebook groups, but that’s not easy or adviceable for niche bloggers because the traffic won’t be targeted.
So publicity is very pertinent, but the method of publicity is very crucial too because you need to take your contents to a market were it’s needed. Imagine publicizing an agric blog to a mobile phone and tech community. You’d lose cash, waste precious time and be frustrated ultimately.
SOLUTION: Identify the particular market where your content is needed; don’t just start an ad because your friends are doing it, understand the need of your readers and meet it.
4. You’re following the crowd
If you came into blogging because of someone who made a lot of money, you are likely to do this because you will follow his rules and his rules alone.
However, the very first rule of blogging is that “Blogging has no rule”. Stop following peoples template and find what works for you. Your style should be your style.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t adopt people’s style, but you should make sure they are working for you, once they don’t, forget them, there is no rule to blogging.
Develop your style and don’t religiously follow their style because again there is no law.
5. You are not rendering services
I have said this time and again; I’ve made more money rendering blog services than I have from ads.
I get paid from what firms would call consultation (I don’t call it that yet) people contact me and ask me to tell them how I do things, I get paid designing blogs, adding some codes to templates, domain registering and setting up, and many other services and these requests come in so frequently that they give me tough time updating my own blog.
If you are not rendering services then you are losing a lot. Create a page on your blog telling your readers services you render and, post on twitter and on your Facebook wall services you can render and you will start getting requests in no time.
It can be anything, you can offer to update blogs for people ( 15 posts at $50 for 5 blogs would give you $250) and that is cool money for a start, and the interesting part is that you can use the same content(if it is an entertainment blog) for your own blog with only little or no changes.
You can do a lot of things, just be creative and see the cash start trickling in. To Your Success.

6 Reasons Why you Should not Root Your Android Phone
Power users and tinkerers love making the most out of Android’s flexibility and the first step towards it is rooting your device. However, not all of us are convinced on the benefits of rooting, as the stock Android experience is pretty satisfying in its own right. But if you are a layman Android user who is thinking of rooting your device, there are a few things you should be aware of before you take the plunge.

We have already listed the reasons why you should root your device, so let’s see the other side of the coin. Here are 6 reasons why you should not root your Android device:
1. Goodbye to warranty
The first thing to take note is that if you root your Android smartphone, you will most probably lose the device’s warranty coverage. While some manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Google Nexus and more do let you unlock a device’s bootloader and root with their official method, most other companies void your warranty if you do it. So, if your device is new and under warranty coverage, you should think twice before rooting it. While you can un-root a device, it’s important to note that rooting a device is illegal in a few countries.
2. You might brick your device
The term “brick” is used for a dead device that cannot be recovered since it’s just an expensive brick with no use whatsoever. Bricking your device is a legitimate concern, considering we put our hard earned money on the products we buy. Even though modern day rooting processes are way more secure, there’s always the risk of a wrong step that might even brick your device.
3. The process is not so easy
The biggest issue users face is that there’s no universal way to root all Android devices. Yes, there are apps that claim to do it, they generally don’t work. Instead, the process is different for every other device, so you need to make sure that you are following the right instructions. Manufacturers that allow rooting provide their own steps, which are full-proof but for most other devices, you will have to rely on various forums such as XDA. The process too is very taxing and it includes connecting your device to a PC, flashing files, entering some commands in the terminal etc. So, if you don’t like complex things, you should stay wary of rooting your Android device.
4. Security risks
While rooting does unlock a whole new world of tweaks, it brings a lot of security risks. Rootingexposes your Android smartphone to potentially harmful apps along with other malicious codes. For instance, we recently came across a“Stagefright” exploit on Android, which allowed attackers to remotely plant malicious code on devices. Manufacturers then released a security patch update to fix the exploit, which basically suggests that Android is not secure from attacks and a rooted device more so.
Rooting also permits apps to access system files, so any app can make changes, access sensitive info and plant any code. There are Root manager apps like SuperSU that let you control root access permissions but you need to be extra careful while granting permissions.

5. Performance issues and bugs
While rooting your device does bring options to improve performance through various mods and tweaks, it also comes with various bugs. These bugs could take some time to be fixed for your particular device, considering these mods are developed by independent developers. It’s also important to keep in mind that once you root your device, it might not be as stable as you would like and bugs & performance issues will be part of your daily usage.
6. Update issues
Once you root your Android smartphone, chances are, it will no longer receive official OTA updates from the manufacturer, which means no more security patches. While some custom ROMs like CyanogenMod bring OTA updates, not all ROMs do that and if you don’t install a custom ROM, there will be no updates. Also, some major updates will require you to go through the root process again, which can be a great hassle. So, if you want to stay up to date when it comes to new Android version updates & security patches, you should not consider rooting your device.

6 Big Reasons Why Windows 10 Mobile is Far Better Than Android Phones
Ever since it was unveiled in 2007 (in response to Apple’s introduction of the iOS, earlier in the same year), the Android mobile operating system has come a really long way. From “Cupcake” to the latest “Marshmallow” release, it has matured a lot, and is now the dominant mobile Operating System out there. Also, there’s little doubting the fact that together, Android and iOS essentially maintain a duopoly in the mobile OS field.
But that’s not to say that there aren’t any alternatives. Launched in 2010, Microsoft’s Windows Phone has always been a refreshingly different and one of the most exciting mobile Operating Systems ever outed. And with its latest Windows 10 Mobile iteration, it’s better than ever. Granted, it continues to suffer from the same, seemingly perpetual problems (low market share, non-availability of most apps etc.) that have plagued Windows Phone since its first release, but Windows 10 Mobile is actually ahead of Android in more ways than imaginable (at least, according to this author). Impossible, you say? Let’s take a detailed look at some of the reasons why Windows 10 Mobile is better than Android.
1. Universal Apps
But that’s not to say that there aren’t any alternatives. Launched in 2010, Microsoft’s Windows Phone has always been a refreshingly different and one of the most exciting mobile Operating Systems ever outed. And with its latest Windows 10 Mobile iteration, it’s better than ever. Granted, it continues to suffer from the same, seemingly perpetual problems (low market share, non-availability of most apps etc.) that have plagued Windows Phone since its first release, but Windows 10 Mobile is actually ahead of Android in more ways than imaginable (at least, according to this author). Impossible, you say? Let’s take a detailed look at some of the reasons why Windows 10 Mobile is better than Android.
1. Universal Apps
Universal Apps are arguably one of the most important features of Windows 10 Mobile (or more specifically, the entire Windows 10 ecosystem). Based on their namesake Universal Windows Platform (UWP)application architecture, Universal Apps can run not only Windows 10 Mobile and its desktop variant Windows 10, but also on a variety of other devices (e.g. tablets, gaming consoles) running specific versions of Windows 10, without needing to be re-written separately for each platform. On the contrary, Android has no such feature (but then, Android isn’t a desktop OS in the first place, either).
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably aware of Cortana. Named after Master Chief’s artificially intelligent companion from the Halo video game franchise, Cortana is Windows 10 Mobile’s personal digital assistant. Controlled just by issuing voice commands, Cortana can be used to make calls, find restaurants nearby, add reminders, get directions, and a heck of a lot more. Although you can get Cortana as an app on Android (and iOS), butdeep integration with Windows 10 Mobile makes it possible to use Cortana to interact with the OS not just easy, but also incredibly fun. And while Google Now provides similar functionality on Android, Cortana is wittier, and feels more “human” in interaction. What’s more, some Cortana commands(e.g. opening apps) even work offline, unlike Google Now on Android.

2. Live Tiles
Perhaps its most unique feature, Live Tiles make Windows 10 Mobile instantly distinguishable from the competition. They can be re-sized, as well as re-arranged on the Start Screen as you like. But Live Tiles are much more than that, as they show constantly updating notifications from the apps they are associated with, while animating themselves with some really dope looking effects. Based on their pinned size, Live Tiles can show brief notifications (e.g. number of missed calls), as well as detailed information (e.g. numbers/contacts from which calls have been missed). And while it’s true that Android has widgets and badge icons for the same, they are nowhere as elegant as Windows 10 Mobile’s live tiles.
3. Extensive Manual Controls For Camera (App)
Smartphone cameras are getting better by the day, and offer image quality that’s comparable (or even more) to that offered by point and shoot digital cameras. And if you use a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone as your camera, you’re going to love the manual controls included with the default camera app. From ISO to Focus, and from White Balance to Shutter Speed, everything can be granularly adjusted via virtual sliders in the app. On the other hand, if you want to have such functionality in Android, you’ll probably have to use one of the many camera apps available on PLAYSTORE.
4. Security
The “open-source” nature of Android has always been regarded as one of its biggest advantages. And that’s true, as it makes it easily modifiable, using everything from the numerous available custom ROMs to launchers. However, this also makes it less secure, as Android has to routinely deal with issues like malware apps, and security bugs like Stagefright. That’s not a problem with Windows 10 Mobile, which is closed source, and comes with enterprise grade security features and malware resistance.

5. Lesser OS Fragmentation
Being the most popular mobile OS out there, Android runs on millions of devices, spread across different manufacturers and variants. Obviously, this means that different number of devices run different (generally older) versions of Android, with some never getting even a single update. By Google’s own stats, the latest version, Marshmallow is just on 2.3% of total Android devices, as of this time. This is a serious fragmentation issue, as devices running older Android versions often never get critical security updates. On the other hand, devices running Windows 10 Mobile (or even its older versions) get24-36 months support for security updates and patches.
6. Cumulative Updates
Windows 10 Mobile is quite different when it comes to official updates. In a sense, it’s a “constantly evolving” mobile OS. As such, Windows 10 Mobile updates are released cumulatively (with increased frequency), bringing bug-fixes, security patches, and new features. And it ensures that Windows 10 Mobile (and the data stored on it) devices not only stay secure, but you also get new features faster. What’s more, Microsoft has also announced that they will decide and control when software updates for Windows 10 Mobile are sent, and not OEM.
Feeling like giving up on Android?
Mobile operating systems have become religions of sorts, with hordes of users (both genuinely passionate and utterly clueless) backing and defending their platform of choice on websites, comment threads, and discussion forums. As such, this article isn’t meant to denigrate Android. Without a doubt, Android is an extremely feature rich mobile OS (and so are iOS, Blackberry 10, and others), with its own set of strong points. But it’s not perfect, and Windows 10 Mobile, despite having a measly market share (at least for now), definitely does a lot of things better than it. However, that’s us. What about you?
